Access Statement
Set in a rural location down a country lane approx ¼ of a mile long is where you will find Radcot Lodge.
Our aim is to provide a relaxing and comfortable experience to all our guests. However, there may be some features which could make access to some of our facilities difficult for those with limited mobility.
Arrival and parking
-We like to ask our guests to check in between 4-00pm - 6-00 pm and check out before 11-30 am but please note that we like to accommodate changes and personal requirements as long as we are informed in time.
-There is a wooden 5 bar gate that gives access to the car park.
-There is a spacious car park in front of the house.
-The front door is a few metres distance from the car park; there is one-step and light outside.
-We will be able to assist with your luggage.
Dining hall/Breakfast room
-The dining room is at the entrance hall of the Lodge, we serve breakfast and dinner in the dining hall.
Sitting room
-The sitting room is next to the dining hall and is available to our guests to watch the television or read the paper.
Courtyard
-The sitting room has a set of French doors that open to a courtyard.
First floor
-There are a set of 16 steps from the dining hall to the first floor.
Bedroom one
-To the right of the landing is bedroom one, there is 100% woollen carpet on the floor and two skylights with velux blinds to ensure complete darkness. There is a dressing table and a sitting area with chairs and a coffee table. There is a complimentary tray with tea, coffee, water and biscuits. The bedding is 100% cotton with manmade duvets and pillows. Additional blankets are available on request. The bathroom has a three function multi shower and the bathroom floor is vinyl. There is a long mirror on the wall and small mirror on the dressing table. An electrical socket is available next to the dressing table. A hanging rail in the corner.
Bedroom two
-To the left of the landing down a step there is a long corridor, in the middle of which bedroom number two can be found. There is 100% woollen carpet on the floor, two skylights with velux blinds and two curtains for the two windows. There is a dressing table and complimentary tray with selections of tea, coffee water and biscuits. There is a long mirror on the wall and a small mirror on the dressing table with an electrical socket. A hanging rail in the corner.
Bedroom three
-At the bottom of the corridor bedroom number three can be found. The carpet is 100% woollen and there is a skylight with a velux blind and a window with curtains. There is a dressing table and complimentary tray with a selection of tea, coffee, water and biscuits. There is a long mirror on the wall and a small mirror on the dressing table. There is a hanging rail.
Family bathroom
-There is a skylight window with a velux blind. The flooring is vinyl. There is a large well lit mirror and a large bath with shower.
Additional information
-The house has a fire escape door at the end of the corridor on the first floor. In the event of fire please evacuate the building using the external door in the corridor, proceeding down the fire escape.
-We do not allow smoking in the house. If you are a smoker please ask for an ashtray and you may smoke outside.
-Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies before you arrive.
